Blue Elgiloy is initially the softest of the tempers. It can be welded with low heat, and soldered without embrittling. Blue Elgiloy is recommended when the wire to be used is over .020” (0.508mm) or when the wire requires considerable bending, welding or soldering. Excellent for edgewise arches, lingual arches, retainers and removables.

Permanent retention is greatly enhanced using a flattened, dead soft 8-braided wire. Intra-arch splinting with this thin ribbon arch prevents torque control problems that can occur using a round braided wire for these procedures. When bonded on the lingual of the upper incisors, a very thin rectangular wire can be adapted with little lower incisor interference. The dead soft wire is easy to adapt and prevents inadvertent tooth movement associated with active force wires.

Bond-A-Braid is excellent for semi-permanent orthodontic splinting of the upper or lower incisors. It can be used to hold diastemas closed, maintain difficult extraction sites and solving various other tooth-splinting dilemmas.Excellent for splinting periodontally comprised teeth.

Assure® Universal Bonding Resin increases bonding to normal, atypical, dry or slightly contaminated enamel. This universal bonding agent bonds to metal restorations without additional primers. No drying or light-curing required and can be used with any light or chemical cure system.

GUMMETAL is super-elastic and has a ductility approximately 10 times (2.5%)
greater than that of conventional metals.

Compared to other titanium wires, GUMMETAL wire generates approximately half the friction between the archwire and bracket with an appropriately treated surface.
